About Adam Schomer

I won’t bore you with my whole life, but ever since age 15 when I read Deepak Chopra’s Ageless Body, Timeless Mind, I became fascinated with the quantum field, meditation, and the intersection of the material world, science and spirituality. I integrated meditation into athletics as a collegiate soccer player at Cornell University and saw the profound effects in the most demanding of situations. My deep desire for truth and freedom ultimately led me both into a fascination with story/archetypes and to seek deeper truths in Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga, where I’ve studied with my teacher, Anand Mehrotra (the founder of Sattva Yoga), since 2007. This love of combining spirit then fused itself into my documentaries, expressing my natural inclination to unite wisdom into engaging and entertaining real life stories and adventures. In addition to making documentaries since 2010, I’m a Master Sattva Himalayan Meditation Teacher, having taught the LA Galaxy pro soccer team, lead breathwork workshops, offer weekly meditations, lead beach yoga, and help organize and film deep pilgrimages – like you can see in The Highest Pass, Road to Dharma, HEAL, Ending Suffering, and even Selling Superman, too. It’s my utmost desire to use this life for evolution, and through my documentary films I hope to inspire people on their pilgrimage of life.
